My stay at Steigenberger Hotel Herrenhof Vienna

The Steigenberger Hotel Herrenhof is the perfect location for enjoying the historical center of Vienna. It is situated in the heart of Vienna’s old town, just few steps away from the Imperial Palace and The Goldenes Quartier, the Viennese high end shopping district. From my room window I could watch the St. Stephen’s Cathedral bell Tower while chilling on bed! I did not have enough of that view!
Two weekends ago I had the pleasure to be invited at the Fête Impériale in Hofburg and no other locations would have been more perfect (and closer) than The Steigenberger Hotel Herrenhof to feel like a princess for a weekend!

My deluxe room was fully equipped with everything I could want: flat screen TV (with also Italian TV channels!! Thank you very much!!) quiet air conditioning, minibar for free, Nespresso coffee machine. The room and bathroom design I would say are a kind of first-class style that combines elegant tradition and modern materials.
Big size king bed and pretty good blackout curtains have contributed to make my stay fabulous! And guys, now there is the point: I slept perfectly! I am a very picky person regarding sleeping and at Steigenberger Hotel Herrenhof I slept heavenly, no annoying noises of technical systems, no dazzling power light on tv or noise from the corridors that normally happens when there is not a good insulation. (I have written you, I am picky!)

All the weekend long we pamper ourself at the cozy spa with sauna and steam bath , enjoying the huge buffet breakfast selection (especially coffee, cakes and the selection a´ la carte were pretty good!) and the refined 4 courses dinner at its “Restaurant Herrlich!”. It was my first time at “Restaurant Herrlich!” and I would love to come back soon, especially because the whole staff has been very friendly and professional at the same time!
In any case my picture below can really good describe the fine selection of the menu, made with fresh seasonal products and perfect flavors combination. The dessert was something I will remember for a long time as much as our stay at Steigenberger Hotel Herrenhof! ♥
