I’m a trendsetter in the true sense of the word. In my profession it is important to keep up to date and understand what trends are and what is best suited to the client or, to myself of course, according to various criteria such as proportions, age, colours, comfort and good taste. Yes, guys, I’m sorry but objectively they must be called that sometimes. I often hear people say: “Yes, I know they’re ugly but they’re a trend now!” Or even better: “it doesn’t look great on me but it is everywhere on Instagram”… “Ehm…Excuse me?”
So let’s see which are the fashion trends 2020 I personally don’t like, I won’t follow and why. There is no real ranking, they are just in random order.
1.Chunky shoes. Still here on market unfortunately! I only ask myself one question: why? They are heavy, bulky, they don’t lift any kind of figure, not even top models. No matter what kind of shoe and on what occasion (maybe in the garden!) for me they are a great NOPE!
2.Baguette bags. Insignificant, uncomfortable, often not very capacious and not very versatile. I don’t like particularly huge bags, on the contrary, I carry very few things with me, so most of the ones I see around would be fine. However, if you wear soft and bulky clothes, especially in winter, as well as not being proportionally harmonious, they are not so versatile and comfortable. Moreover, being a small bag, again for what concerns the proportions, it should not be recommended to very tall and plus-sized people. They emphasize volumes in short.
3.Pampas grass. Well, here is also a personal taste. First of all I don’t like them and then they only look good in a few contexts with specific materials and atmospheres. I’m tired of seeing them positioned everywhere without a real search for style and coordination.
4.Tiny sunglasses. I see nothing refined and harmonious when I see them worn. I haven’t seen a person who looks good in them yet. I mean, I think they’re a bit like swimming caps, you don’t walk around in them! Horrific!
5.High legs bikini and swimsuits. I don’t find anything refined, but in fact really vulgar. Most of the time it is better to cover a little more and show less.
That´s my fashion trends 2020 that are a big flop for me. If you want, give me your ideas and opinions down below. I am curious about yours. Many thanks for reading.
