At Sacher Hotel. Sometimes it happens and when it happens, you are so happy! Two days ago I had the pleasure to attend the Press & Bloggers events at Sacher Hotel in Vienna, organised during the presentation of “Das Original Backbuch”.
The first time I visited Vienna as tourist, more than 12 years ago, one of the first things I did, was a visit at the Sacher Hotel for tasting a original Sacher Torte, my favourite cake! Some years later, life has wanted me to move to Vienna but I have never supposed, I would have got the welcome opportunity to join any events at Sacher Hotel!
In a charming atmosphere surrounded by many cakes and sweet flavours, we had the book presentation and a very appreciated tasting of some of their most famous recipes, including a fresh homemade Kaiserschmarrn directly prepared in front of us! What can I say? Everything was simply delicious!
During the evening bloggers event I got also a nice tips & backing course. It was nice to decorate Christmas gingerbread and to make some pancakes & Apfelstrudel.
Das Original Sacher Backbuch is really beautiful: it has amazing pictures and collects more than 80 backing recipes. I think it is a great idea for a perfect Christmas gift. I personally love cooking and above all trying new recipes. So, now with my Sacher pinny I can pretend to be a Pro! ♥
